Upon arrival, our room was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated in black and white with colorful accents on the bed covers. However, the lack of room servicing meant we didn't receive fresh towels or amenities like soap or Kleenex throughout our stay. The service, despite some internal issues like staff yelling across the property, was efficient and helpful. The location wasn't the best and advised against walking downtown due to safety concerns, although the housekeeping staff were friendly. Overall, the hotel amenities were satisfactory.

7.4/10
The hotel has nice-looking and well-stocked rooms that are clean and well lighted, but unfortunately, they smelled strongly of stale smoke with overly bright lighting at night. The service was exceptional with a keen eye for cleanliness and friendliness from the staff. The location is excellent, especially for those visiting the university, despite some parking challenges. However, the dining experience could be improved with better coffee quality. Overall, a comfortable stay with a few minor drawbacks.

5.0/10
The hotel is quite a mixed bag. While the location is excellent, being close to the University and downtown, the lack of proper room maintenance was a letdown, with light pollution seeping in due to inadequate curtains and a lingering smell that was unpleasant. The promise of ongoing renovations offers hope for future guests, but the current state leaves much to be desired.
Rooms
5.0
The room lacked proper maintenance, with no servicing provided, resulting in a lack of fresh towels and toiletries. The light pollution from outside was disturbing, and there was an unpleasant smell present.
Service
5.0
The service was intrusive, with housekeeping repeatedly knocking on the door despite being informed of my presence. However, there was a proactive attempt to address issues like stained towels, showing attention to cleanliness.
Location
6.0
The location, while relatively central, is not ideal for those looking to be close to downtown. It is a bit far from the main attractions, reducing the convenience factor.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience fell short with cold food and a limited selection that ran out quickly. Despite the options available, the quality and replenishment were disappointing.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities seemed average, although the ongoing remodeling might improve the overall experience in the future.
